How We Score Each Operator

The heaviest weight in our scoring sits with an operator's regulatory standing: whether a licence is held, what conditions attach to it, and whether a reader can find that licence on the regulator's own public register rather than take our word for it. A licence is not treated as a mark of safety or quality; it only tells you which rules apply and who enforces them. Behind that sits how clearly bonus terms are stated: wagering conditions, expiry, and what is excluded from a promotion carry more weight the harder they are to find or the more they shift after signup. We also weight whether a route to independent dispute resolution exists, since that shapes what happens when a complaint is not resolved directly. Nothing here rewards presentation or marketing claims; the score reflects what is checkable, not what is promised.
